The concept behind my candle business is pretty straightforward. Having appreciated candles since my teenage years, I would often be the one to light them during holidays and also use them in my bedroom as well. I did this in order to help me unwind and to also create a relaxing atmosphere while listening to my music.

 

Over time, candles became an integral part of my daily life. As my interest in them grew over the years, I began researching their production process and the art of crafting them. Given my passion for them, I decided to try making my own candles. From there, it turned into more, an idea.

 

Initially my idea was to do this on a small scale starting only with family and friends. Then I started reaching out to close neighbors. Before I knew it, I was teaming up with a business as one of their vendors. Unexpectedly, within a matter of a few years, things went into a new direction. 

 

Not sure of what direction this was, I just decided to go with it. One of the things that was starting to happen, was that I was establishing my own customer base. And of course making more and more candles, I became more skilled at it. And with all of this, my candle sales had increased. 

 

Well, once this started happening and also receiving continued support from everyone around me, it was obvious what I needed to do. My decision to keep moving forward was not in question anymore. So by listening to my inner voice and those around me, "Candles By Sandy" was no longer just an idea...
